We Help Franchisors Become Successful!

Our mission is to help franchisors become more successful, whether they’re in the exploratory phase, have a chain of franchises, or plan on rapid growth. Below are some examples of how we’ve helped our clients solve their problems.

Café YummCafé Yumm

What the franchisor needed: The owners of Café Yumm, a successful healthy restaurant operation in Eugene, Oregon, needed help franchising their restaurant concept.
What we provided: We provided the “Power Package,” which included templates for a Store Opening Manual, an Operations Manual, an employee handbook, and coaching.
Successes: The Power Package made selling and opening the first franchise locations much easier. The owners of Café Yumm saved time and money and immediately looked professional and successful, thanks to strong manuals and documentation.

Taco BellTaco Bell

What the franchisor needed: During a time of severe budget cuts, Taco Bell needed a cost-effective training program for their general managers.
What we provided: We developed self-study booklets for Taco Bell on office organization, sharing information, and time management.
Successes: The booklets met Taco Bell’s training needs, at a fraction of the cost of more traditional training methods. The self-study program was so successful that it was also used for performance enhancement and career development of other company employees.

Go Roma Italian KitchenGo Roma Italian Kitchen

What the franchisor needed: In 2006, with five Go Roma restaurants in the Chicago area, the owners wanted to franchise their restaurant concept.
What we provided: We developed a custom operations manual and training program for Go Roma.
Successes: Because of the detailed template established with the initial operations manual (as well as training modules, station cards, menus, and processes and procedures), Go Roma was ready to hit the ground running with their plans to franchise. In 2007, Go Roma was named a top “Hot Concept” by Nation’s Restaurant News.

Del TacoDel Taco

What the franchisor needed: Del Taco needed an updated shift supervisor training manual that was more interactive and reflected some new changes.
What we provided: We provided a well-planned manual with individual, as well as small and large group activities. The manual was rich in custom Del Taco icons and graphics, with lots of white space.
Successes: Because of the updated, well-organized and complete manual and facilitator guide, the classes went more smoothly and participants were better focused on the key topics. Participants received a more robust manual to refer to after class. Multiple trainers were now teaching the same content in the same way, which eliminated inconsistencies between classes.

Wolfgang Puck ExpressWolfgang Puck Express

What the franchisor needed: When Wolfgang Puck Worldwide decided to franchise the quick service concept, they needed an operations manual in order to fulfill their UFOC requirement (Uniform Franchise Offering Circular).
What we provided: We created a series of manuals for Wolfgang Puck Express that could be used for reference and training. The manuals included: food & beverage (F&B), safety & sanitation, administration, management development, equipment, and team training for all nine stations in the restaurants. We also provided team member training.
Successes: In less than three years, Wolfgang Puck express doubled the number of franchises sold, and franchisees said the training materials and manuals were some of the best they had ever used.

SodexoSodexo (formerly Sodexho)

What the franchisor needed: Consistent procedures and information, conveyed across three different brands.
What we provided: Franchise Power Package, from which Sodexo created standardized methods and manuals, for their three different concepts.
Successes: Consistent, professional, well-organized materials in a familiar format made it easier for managers and employees to adapt to their rotations among each of the concepts.

Baja FreshBaja Fresh

What the franchisor needed: Baja Fresh needed to eliminate the high volume of questions coming into corporate headquarters that could have been easily addressed inside each of the restaurants.
What we provided: We designed an equipment manual, complete with icons and detailed photos, that was organized in the same format for each piece of equipment.
Successes: When language misunderstandings and learning time decreased, fewer calls came into corporate headquarters, and better equipment maintenance led to less down time and lower repair costs.
